Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - October 2018

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

Since I pretty much failed all my goals of last month.... I'll try to finish those this month.
 
Ok. So I'm in a tricky situation. I started playing the game early this year and quickly amassed over 3k in models. Nearly all of them aren't painted yet. I've really struggled with finding time, but I'm determined to make October a productive month. I'm hoping to start attending tournaments next year!

My list for October:

20 x knights
60 x skinks
3 x razordons
3 x terradons

It's a lot I know. But if I can get that done I'll be very happy!

I still need to make a final decision on my bases. I'm thinking of going for desert bases.
 
Based coated and shaded, 10 chamo skinks, a basilidon, 3 Krox, 3 Salamanders, 9 Handlers.

I will only have 3 Razordons and 3 rippers to do then that's Seraphon complete.
 
20x shields for currently shield-less Saurus warriors
24x shields for currently shield-less Skink Skirmishers
Finish basing 48x said Skink skirmishers
Finish the base for my slann (I have some epoxy to make the pond now)
Resist the urge to build Tetto'eko
Make a start on painting my templegaurd if I manage the one above this one xD

Do you have a blog? What color scheme are you looking at? Do you want advice on anything?
 
I shall paint 5 Wrathmongers! Great thread. Thanks for the post. You finally motivated me to make a paint blog.
