Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - May 2019

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

Lol you should now be super motivated to catch up (plus people are waiting to see said gloom units) :D

I really want a mangler squig...but I do have many armies/units to get finished...
Anyway I want to at least get my EOTG’s finished, Sunblood finished, Eternity warden finished and hopefully some more gloomspites
 
My list for this month:

- Unit of 10 Saurus Warriors, i really like to finish them now... :(
- Make some progress on my Carnosaur
(a this is new)
- Magnetize all my 15 Saurus Knights

I have finally gotten around to starting to paint my Lizardmen after years of putting it off. My aim for this month is to finish the 2 Skink and 2 Saurus that I've started in my chosen colour scheme, start on the rest of my assembled skinks and saurus and maybe start building a steg or basti. Also once I have some finished models I'll start a blog on here.

As some others, I got close to nothing done in April, the schedule was busy with other things. But I did just buy more stuff to lengthen the back-log :D

Well May is even busier irl but we'll try and get things started. As we always say in chemistry, once the activation barrier is over things just roll as tget are supposed to :)

I'll be conservative and try to settle on a colour scheme this month for the lizards, as well as convert some of the resin khorne hounds into razordons - just started that today ;)
I'll try a colour scheme akin to day gekkos that I really like, Phelsuma laticauda, wish me luck :D
 
Hey everyone! I am glad to say that I fulfilled all of my March objectives in time and that April was awesome as well! My objectives for May are to practice highlighting, learning to do water bases and maybe start brushing that thicc boi with the solar beam.

Also, to control myself and care for my wallet when the update comes out. Coming this month or June no doubt!
 
Hard to believe it is May already. I would like to finish up some more ashigaru, and I got some spiders and velociraptors on my painting table at the moment too.

My brother also got me some terrain boards, that I hope to combine with my recent purchase of a bunch of pink insulation foam. More terrain projects for the near future!
 
I'm going to finish the giant Spider and Sylvaneth Underworlds dudes. Maybe get the Ironjawz Underworlds done too. Then I hope to make a solid start on building / planning the Sylvaneth army.
 
This year is weird. I just... cannot keep up with the pace I established in the last two years.
Suddenly it is mid May and I haven't painted much at all.

I did finish Joseph Bugman and I painted one Blood Bowl human at least (the latter wasn't planned)
I haven't started Arkhan though. So I was halfway successful I guess.
Might get something done in the last few days of May though, we will see.
