Let's Get Motivated - March 2020

Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - March 2020

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

Maybe this month I will paint my own models

Super excited for the new Battletome. Time to paint up some of my grey underused lizards.

I managed to finish about a 3rd of the bases I intended too last month. Aim for March is to finish the rest (hopefully).

Things to do:
* have a good one week lizard vacations in Spain (lots of climbing and sun-basking ^^)
* having mounts done, move on to saurus riders
* pour water effects and add foliage and the bases are finally done!

Didn’t finish last month but got lots done regardless...

-varnish my terrain pieces
-play a warcry game or 2
-Cleaning/priming my ironjawz

Now let’s see if I can keep to those....

But wait with the new Battletome in sight oh damm I may plunge into seraphon mid month....

And enjoy my vacation with the fam in Mexico at the end of the month!!!!!

Well let’s scratch that one!!

Goals for this month:

- finish another two Knights
and
- get my hands on the New Battletome and 1 or 2 SCB Skinks

Well, I think since things slowed down, but we now have a confirmation on the tome.... I'll finish Kroak, the Stegadon, and the Temple guard I've been working on forever. Intermittent work on the Dread Saurian too of course... It's hard to not touch him.

I had a little break of painting because of work and other stuff.
There sits a lot of stuff unpainted but to keep it realistic I think I finish my bastiladon, some skinks and my skinkpriest.

I try now to paint 30 saurus guard and maybe try to start a engine/stegadon

I got caught up in fixing one of my old guitars....and I still have a lot of work left before it's 100% ready for gigs....I did not finish my EotG like I thought I would so that's a bit disappointing. If I successfully move the guitar bridge back tonight, I should be able to clean my room some, THEN I can pick up painting again....

Hopefully this will be the month I can finish my EotG. If I manage that and I feel motivated, I would like to finish basing my first squad of Saurus. The only thing I have left on them is to paint the rocks and add some tufts of grass. It shouldn't be too difficult....

In the meantime I am writing on my Seraphon story a bit.

Well got my ironjawz (well all except the gore-gruntas) primed!!

So 1 out of 3 so far!!

My objectives this month :

-Paint a unit of 10 saurus
-Paint a unit of 10 skinks
-Base them

I've got plenty of free time so I think I could handle that... Hopefully.

My goal is to paint a unit of skinks with a pattern just like that of a desert iguana! The start of my desert seraphon army where each unit will represent a real American desert reptile!

I'm working on getting my Saurus Knights all ready and fit for my Cold Ones. Finished the bodies of those ladies (Cold Ones), but need to do their heads still. Chipping away steadily though!

My to do list is as follows.

1. Get a good scheme for my saurus.

2. Stop procrastinating with my painting

3. Get the new tome so I can plan my army

4. More and more saurus!

1) Start posting again in the forum after an endless deep sleep

2) Preorder all the preordable on saturday

3) Start my blog on Tiranyd-lizardman

4) Finish to modify my Arachnodon

5) Finish to paint 5 saurus knight
