Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - June 2019

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

Note: Previous months can be found in the vault http://www.lustria-online.com/forums/the-vault.40/

Cheers Crowsfoot

Started a bastiladon today never painted anything like it before the largest I have ever done is some 25mm trolls and some tau crisis suits years ago

goals

- at least 10 stormcast eternals
- finish the Bastiladon
- don't over commit to lists

Got to paint some Saurus heroes (an Oldblood and a Scar Vet for my carnosaurs), a Skink starpriest, stuff I've ordered for my (still quite small) Gloomspite project, and a glorious Josef Bugman like Aginor's!

It's stupid resin and I hate resin like any reasonalbe gentleman, but boy I do love that miniature!

I have been pretty lucky with all the resin kits I own. GW replaced the few that I bought which had any issues. However, resin kits do seem to require more freehand work when it comes to painting and some of the old sculpts are not GWs best work.

Allright, my intention is to:

- Paint and base my first Troglodon.

- Paint skink riders for Ripperdactyls.

- Paint Kroq-Gar (not mount).

- Paint a Skink Priest.

- Fully assemble finished Bastiladon and then make a base for it.

If by that point I have more time I intend to paint the Ripperdactyls and Grymloq, and possibly find bits to make some Jungle Swarms.

Then I should update my painting block with all the stuff that I already have finished, but been too lazy to take pictures of yet.

I need to finish off my custom inquisitor, just slapping some dudes guys together while I wait for a chance to buy primer, want to do some hunting teams next i think? But that means i need to finish assembling these resin salamanders or figure out a set of colours for the razordons..... they always look a bit drab for my tastes?
