Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - February 2026

This thread is to get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

-Have whole plague faction at least preshaded
-Find out where I put all the Forge Fathers models
-Prime Bolt Action ruins
-Prime and preshade 2 epic terrain features

My monthly goals will be:

- Paint 2 Hero minis for the Fortress faction of HoMM3
- Paint the Town mini for the Fortress faction of HoMM3
- Paint one configuration of my Isengard Troll

- Start work on my Slannhood project

- Read, vote and write reviews on the Short-story contest

First update of the month:

-Finish 4 Epic Warpath units - 2 done, 2 to go
-Have whole plague faction at least preshaded - working on it
-Find out where I put all the Forge Fathers models - found those little buggers :D
-Prime Bolt Action ruins
-Prime and preshade 2 epic terrain features

Bonus: Forge Fathers are on bases with basing done, ready for primer after Plague is done
 
Second update of the month:

-Finish 4 Epic Warpath units - done, just need to make pictures
-Have whole plague faction at least preshaded - 9 models to go
-Find out where I put all the Forge Fathers models - found those little buggers :D
-Prime Bolt Action ruins
-Prime and preshade 2 epic terrain features

Bonus: Forge Fathers are on bases with basing done, ready for primer after Plague is done

I like and can accommodate painting most days. I know others cannot.

I'm incredibly grateful my job and other schedule allows for this.
