Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - June 2020

This thread is too get us motivated each monthinto finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend totry and finish this month, it can bemodels/terrain/conversions of any game type. Nopressure if you don't finish anything this is formotivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want toshare your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress,again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply alink.

The reason I don't want images in this thread istoo get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique,etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc post here and thecommunity will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

Note: Previous months can be found in the vaulthttp://www.lustria-online.com/forums/the-vault.40/

  2. Add some finishing touches (most of all figuring out how to get sashes for them done)
  3. Make a test run for the paint scheme I've in mind (resumed from last month).
  4. Get at least three models for my warbands painted.
  5. Write down the background ideas for my warbands.

Hello everyone! First time writer!
I've just joined a campaign in my LGS, and the requierements are that you must everytime start new models and paint them, increasing the points each month.
For this month, I need to paint 300 points, which they'll be:

-Oldblood in Carnosaur
-5 Saurus guard

I'll make a hobby blog here, stay tuned!

First updatee for my team.

Theses 9 days I have managed to do:
  • Mount 10 saurus guard
  • Mount options for the saurus warriors
  • Base ALL the minis ( 10 guard, 20 saurus, 20 skinks, 1 carno, 1 basti)
  • Cenital priming ALL the minis
I think I am right on track, let's see the rest of the month

So far I managed to get the bases done. I guess I have to throw myself into it to get everything done this month.

So as an update to my previous post, I was inspired by this youtube video to inventory my Pile of Shame (unpainted wargaming sprues) and see just how far in the hole I currently am :eek::argh::nailbiting::D

Here are the results:

Pile of Shame 15JUN20.png

In total on the first of this month, I had 321 models/miniatures/terrain pieces left unpainted on my hobby shelf, some still on the sprue in the box :eek:!

I have only finished 13 of these so far, long way to go. If I remember I will check this list out again in the future and see where I stand.

Nice and confronting overview, good luck working on that. Don't share with the Mrs ;)

Color code is:
Green = finished?
Yellow = Work in progress?
Red = not started?
