Despite or just because of the fact the desease probably spread by a fat Chaos God is still active, here's the thread for painting motivation for the new month.

@Crowsfoot seems not to be active right now so I made it.

To make a start: My actual goal is to finish my first Bastiladon paint job I started in end of June.
 
Well the only thing I have with me this month is a couple box of skinks... so try to figured out how I’ll attack those aka build them and then get to work on them.
 
I have made some progress on working through my pile of shame since last month!
I went through my collection again, and found a few more miniatures/projects that I wasn't accounting for my total last month. Technically this means I have made some negative progress... but I am going to ignore that for now.

50 complete out of 337, only 287 to go! :D:D

Got a full unit of Tokugawa Ashigaru complete and a small unit of archers, working on my samurai board next. Hope to be extra productive this month, we shall see what happens o_O


... and may the mighty lord @Crowsfoot make a speedy return (long may he ribbit)
 
This month, I'll continue the miniatures for the campaign. Since the oldblood got down 20 points, I need to paint more to keep up.

This month and the next 250 points are
  • 5 Saurus guard: 50 points
  • 10-15 Saurus warriors : 90-125 points
  • Skink starpriest: circa 100 points
I already started all of them. They are based and primed, and all saurus shields are painted, so I think I can make the goal for this month easily

This month I'd like to:

- finish painting Treelord
- finish painting additional heads and handweapons for the Ancient Treelord and the Spirit of Durthu
- finish assembling SCB Skinks
or
- start assembling SCB Greywater fastness

Just getting started into AoS, so I am starting with a mix of original '97 lizardmen rebased and the SC boxed set. But my game group has set a goal of fully painted starter armies by the end of summer before we buy new models.

In June, I finished the following models:
1x Old Blood on Carnosaur
5x Saurus warriors with clubs and shields
8x Saurus warriors with spears
16x Skinks with bows (blowpipes)
1x Skink priest

My goal for painting in July ahead of me:
5x Saurus warriors with clubs and shields
12x Saurus warriors with spears
5x Saurus knights
1x Original metal Slann

I did cheat and picked up one new (old) model online. I picked up the old metal Carnosaur model to represent a Scar-Vet on Carnosaur, while the modern plastic kit is my general Old Blood on Carnosaur. I have the metal carnosaur built, still need to work on the rider then I can get them primed.

Got a lot of Samurai and my samurai board complete! Pics here.

Next up is some Orks on my table... turned the box of kill team of five burna/lootas into 17 models so far!
 
Now that I'm finally back in my house, new dog in tow, i hope to clear up any pile of minis i have.
  • Get the last skink chameleon converted and spruce up the other models Done
  • Get them all painted so i can start on other non seraphon things
  • Paint a Choas Terminator. They look so good to not have atleast one.
  • Painy my first 3 Ariadna minis for ifinity. A caledonian Mormear, William Wallace himself, and the confusingly based Cateran
If i manage ill grab some dwarfs to paint up or another start collecting Seraphon box to finish up a 1000-1500pt army.

I'm tempted to draw up a spreadsheet like yours of my pile of metal/plastic/resin/shame. Maybe it will help me focus!
