OK, firstly I've posted this. I was jocking but the message was launched…

We have pages of tanks vs lightsabers.
Guys, lets give it a break ;)

It went unheard.

So I've posted this other message, on a more serious tone but with a friendly smile.

I am pondering to shut down this thread and call it a day. :D

...which was followed by two pages of tanks vs lightsabers in a matter of few hours.

Tanks vs. Lightsabers huh? This seems fitting…

With this I think the matter has been settled, in a perfect cartoonish style.

Don't turn this in a sort of personal spam thread, please… you don't want to hear my Mod's voice.

I'm a bit confused. By definition, as outlined in the original post AND the thread title, this is in fact a spam thread. That's its only real purpose. Personally I wouldn't have created such a thread, but here it is. A sort of "don't hate player, hate the game" scenario

Spamming on this thread is no different than answering the OP's question on any other thread. What other purpose does this thread have (other than @Rednax 's original intention of dethroning the "Just for laughs" thread as the largest of Lustria Online)? I'm curious, how would you have people proceed? This same pattern has been occurring for 230 pages now, today's incident was just honestly a more rapid and condensed version of what has been going on for years. :D Is the issue with the repetitive nature of the posts or the timing of them?

In fairness, shutting it down might actually be the best option. In which, case we can go to a "judges decision". Most significant strikes (posts) wins... I feel confident with my 1742! :p

At times I've actually hoped this stupid thread would die. I've even buried it behind multitudes of my other threads, but somebody always digs it back up. Of course, I could stop posting on it myself (which would likely expedite its demise far quicker) but I'm a competitor, it wouldn't be my style. Someone should finally slay it. It is essentially pointless as its very nature prevents any sort of real discussion.

DEATH TO THE THREAD! :rage: Unleash your mod voice in all its glorious fury and strike down the thread! :)
