You, my friend, have gone up even further in my estimations purely by knowing of the existence of this masterpiece of British children’s TV. So sad it was dropped from CBBC so soon into my era (I just have one video tape of about 8-10 episodes recorded during my early childhood that I cherish to this day). I wish I could like this post twice.

So sad it was dropped from CBBC so soon into my era (I just have one video tape of about 8-10 episodes recorded during my early childhood that I cherish to this day). And another excellent one from my childhood... the quality of this one is so good that my parents, who grew up with the original in the 60s, thought this one was better because it kept the same formula but developed it further with all the additional animal characters. Same with Andy Pandy.
