What do you guys think? Not sure if I should invest in an eternity warden for the eternal starhost...
Also, I'm considering dropping the unit of skinks and the razordon in favor of a balewind vortex...

For me using shadowstrike with just 3 rippers is a waste.
Try to get in a minimum of 6, 9 is better.

I'm pretty sure with 2 units of chameleon skinks I meet the requirements for the batallion

Definitely think that 3 rippers is enough, 6 can often lead to doing more wounds than you need and wasting 100pts or so, as long as you pick targets sensibly, you can do a lot of damage with just three.

You wont need the rippers to pick up heros, thats what kroak is supposed to do.
You need the rippers to kill the units that threat your Lord K the most.
F.e. take 9 Longstrikes in an aether strike List.
3 wont do the job.

Maybe, but could pop a shot before with the bastiladon.

I think that Raptors are more the exception than the rule and are one of the most threatening long range attackers and their points reflect that, 9 would cost 540pts, a quarter of a standard army.

I agree with @Mune at all points. To be fair, 6 rips seem to be the safe number to eliminate any kind of priority target in an all around list

3 rippers have done it for me so far, with about 5 games using 'em they never dissapointed me and I never felt as though I needed more!
Anyone think that dropping the 10 skinks and getting a second razordon/Sally would be a good idea? Or do you value more the annoyance that are the skinks?

In this list I suggest something like that :
-drop razodont and skinks for balewind .. I know you we can't resummom vortex for free but is still really good on kroak( we can to him into mystical terrein and after summon vortex)
- ill drop guards for saurus warr ( 2x10 unit for hold points, you have more wounds to def and you Are better vs mortal wounds because you got more wounds)
- drop the 3rd guards and priest to add 3 more ryppers ( I think 6 ryppers are. A must in a shadowstrike list) !!
