AoS Just started playing and need help

I just started playing AoS and decided to go with lizardmen as of right now I don't know where to start buying an army I got a few things from a friend but don't know where to go from here.

what I have
Seraphon start collecting
1x box of skinks
1x skink star priest

I don't know whats good and whats not for warscroll battalions. I also wanted to know can my battlelines count towards my warscroll battalions?
 
....Figure out what kind of army where you hoping to make ?
and then figure out what bundle matches your idea.

Hello Radak, welcome to Lustria!

Regarding battlelines (the models you have).

Skinks are always battleline
Saurus warriors are always battleline
Saurus Knights are battleline only if you play a Seraphon Allegiance (this means you cannot include non-seraphon models in the army)

A battleline included in a battalion is still battleline.
 
yep, they seem to have snagged some old 6th edition ideas along the way.
 
Welcome aboard! I say build the carno, make the oracle into a skink priest or chief, make one of the knights into a scar-vet on cold one. As you build you will probably want ripperdactyl/terradon, bastilladon or two or more. Chameleon skinks. A second Start collecting never hurts either.
 
Where to Buy?! In order from cheapest to most expensive showing the rough range percentage off you can usually find:

- Facebook Warhammer/Age of Sigmar Buy Swap and Sell Groups (70-40%) - Great deals as people sell off armies, watch out for used models!
- Ebay/Fishpond/Gumtree (60-30%) - Decent deals but the sites themselves take their cut so prices are generally higher.
- Independent Retailers of Games Workshop products (10-20%) - Great prices and guaranteed new in box.
- Games Workshop
- Australia (200%, a kidney, 2 lungs, left test.......) - Become Elon Musk before you consider buying from here.
