Yeah... there is an apricot tree in my yard. It doesn't bear a lot these days since it is quite an old tree for a fruit tree, but one year it had so many of the damned things I was ASKING THE NEIGHBORS to PLEASE TAKE THEM.
That's interesting, at what age does a fruit tree stop producing fruit in significant quantities?

They're in MN, a cold-weather varietal. Sour and kind of acidic, but my mother loved them for using them when cooking venison. From what I understand, a fruit tree will bear for about 25 years-ish. It was here when we bought the house in 2012, and was huge back then. That one gangbuster year was in 2014 or 2015, and it hasn't borne more than a handful each year since.
