You are both right, hangry is a fairly common American slang terms. Memes with spelling airs errors are really annoying.

I generally try not to "like" them even if I like them.

My stock of memes I've made for L-O, I've went back to square one to change a small spelling error or because I didn't like the font.

In a some cases I have made three versions of the same meme to correct nitpicky because that's how I roll.

Memes in my opinion have very relaxed rules when it comes to grammar. Punctuation is not typically used and slang (or even slang-like spellings) are often more appropriate than their "proper" equivalents.

Excessive spelling errors can ruin a meme. There have been a few memes that I've chosen not to share one because of them. Often times though, I'll share it anyways if the meme is good enough and if is easy enough to understand what is being conveyed.
