Every year, China celebrates National Single's Day on November 11th. They had a huge celebration on November 11th 2011.

Ironically, National Singles Day is considered an auspicious time to get married. If I recall correctly, they set a record for marriage licenses in one day on the 2011 Singles Day which is impressive because the marriage rate in China in general (and most of the rest of the world) is going down.
