addendum. Its not bad. It's not going to become my new favorite topping (salami has that title), but salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, and anchovies is not a bad combination.
My friend who likes anchovie salad thought the danger of an anchovy pizza is the anchovies drying out so I made the anchovies the bottom layer sitting on the tomato sauce.
I was also say that anchovies are fragrant and flavorful. A very small amount of them has a big impact blending well with the other toppings. I'm guessing I woudn't like a pizza with lots of achovies. Like the other controversial topping, pineapple, small amounts are best in my opinion.
