This was actually a plot point in Hancock. I wonder if Superman was drunk. Hancock was a great movie. I like Will Smith but he hasn't been the same since he filmed After Earth. None of the stuff he's done after After Earth was near that bad but I haven't really enjoyed anything he's done since.

In Superman's defense he could have injured the kid by moving him too fast though I've never seen that come up before. That's something Spiderman had to deal with him. He once caught someone who was falling but she died from the whiplash.
