What's sad is that that meme is kinda true. Japanese giant hornets were found in Washington state, also known as Murder Hornets. Multiple stings can cause people who aren't even allergic to bees, to die and each sting feels like molten hot metal. So yeah............. If these bees come to MD I'm leaving the dang country, I hate bees.

I'm saving that and will use it. I'm constantly defending bees to co-workers. Mainly solitary and honey-bees as they constantly confuse them with wasps. I keep saying the black and yellow warning signs are the clue, but they just freak out whenever they see them.

We definitely get hornets round here. A friend of mine finds it particularly funny to get dead ones, inside a very clear plastic bag and leave them inside people's drawers...

It's not a pleasant experience...
