I have worked a custodial job briefly. I've also worked non-custodial jobs where we didn't have a full time custodian and had to take turns cleaning the bathroom. Public restrooms are normally cleaned every day. Very few private toliets are cleaned near that often.

I am not very squeamish aout public restrooms.

When I eventually upgrade from apartment renter to home owner I plan to get a bade. They only cost a few hundred bucks. The cheapest ones are less than a hundred bucks.
