I had some fun with this once. I was in a group of idiots who shoveled the work on to me. So I asked them what they thought of an audio file. They asked what type and I said “MP5” . They failed to get the reference and lone behold the audio file was the sound of an MP5 firing.

They never shoveled work onto me again

well, when i was in the army, i found a cooked beetle in my croissant.
I took away the beetle and the dough around it, and eated the rest of the thing.

One of the Percy Jackson books was retelling old myths and said "The king offered an ass load of gold to anyone who could solve the riddle. By which of course I mean a cart full of gold pulled by a strong donkey.

Of course since I stopped maturing around age 14, I have used this more than once in the RPG I'm running now. The player characters are extra heroic and generally refuse payment for services but they end getting free food and provisions from grateful people they helped so they left the last lord's castle with an ass load of supplies.
