Fun fact:
There is a German saying "Ford gefahren, heim gelaufen"
Which is a play on words (Ford and the German word "fort" which means 'away' sound very similar, at least the way most Germans pronounce Ford, with a short 'o') and translates to "you drove a Ford and came home on foot".

Disclaimer: I have driven in Ford cars for quite some time, and **knocks on wood** so far I never had any problems in that regard.
