At least it was fun seeing just how many people were unpleased by it. Now if everyone banded together and scrapped their HBO subscription until a remake was completed, I think they just might listen. Of course, that shall never happen.

Unrealistic expectations? I expected it to be good, is that unrealistic? (and for the record I liked seasons 1-7, even the seasons that people complained about).

They rushed it, pure and simple. 6 episodes was simply not enough to cover that much ground. They needed 2 full seasons to do it justice.
