Actually, scientifically, you can survive in the vacuum of space for a very short period of time. One of the key points is to make sure you breath out all the air from your lungs before entering the vacuum. One of the first movies to explore this was 2001: A Space Odyssey. At first it received criticism for it, but its interpretation was eventually backed up and defended by scientists.

Don't mistake this as a defense for the Leia space scene. It was utter garbage.


I really dislike Rose, but Jar Jar is still by far my least favorite character. Your points are valid, but at least I can ignore Rose to some degree. Jar Jar is constantly in your face and detracts from every scene he is in. Either way, I hate them both.

We don't speak of the Holiday Special. No one should ever speak of the holiday special. It is pretty much forgotten at this point and its only lasting impression was that it was the first to introduce Boba Fett.

People get so serious about Starwars, yet this is conveniently forgotten lol

The Holiday Special was so horrible that words can not accurately describe the revulsion it induces. George Lucas once said that he would love nothing more than to collect every last copy of it and personally smash them to pieces.

my wife wont let this house forget that its cannon she MAKES US WATCH IT EVERY YEAR!!! every god dammed year...stating Disney said only thing created by gorge Lucas are cannon and guess what the Christmas special was....so really starwars was ruined in the 80s ANYTHING the new movies do will NEVER be as bad as that...
