Mines are still less severe than the ones of the guys that did the video...

I didn't ruin shit, so stop blaming me. Disney ruined Star Wars long before I posted this meme.
You have just ruined that scene for me!

Actually, JJ didn't direct episode IIX, which is why the two episodes are so disjointed. It wasn’t Disney that ruined Star Wars - it was J.J. Abrams, the Sith Lord who is an obvious Original Trilogy fanatic.
And he’s about to mess up Episode 9 I imagine...

Disney did ruin the Star Wars franchise. They chose JJ to direct the movie, and then allowed to be released! Don't blame a serf for doing something that pleased his master. It wasn’t Disney that ruined Star Wars - it was J.J. Abrams, the Sith Lord who is an obvious Original Trilogy fanatic.

Episode IIX was the worst episode in the entire saga!!!He is directing 9. Rian Johnson directed Episode 8, the Last Jedi. J.J. directed 7 and is unfortunately returning for Episode 9.

They (Disney) then chose an even worse director for episode IIX and gave him the thumbs up on production.
If Disney didn't like the movies, the would have demanded that they be changed. They can do that after all, the are the money bags.
Episode IIX was the worst episode in the entire saga!!!
That scene looked horrendously out of place.True I didn’t like Leia not dying in space
That entire casino + horse racing/escape scene was terrible and completely unnecessary. Also, Rose was a horrible character, the worst in the sequel trilogy.but everything else was good.

Johnson made every male character seem weak and/or incompetent, and all of the female characters strong and intelligent.Johnson took what was a bloated cliche-ridden mess (7) and turned it into something with an at least different story. True I didn’t like Leia not dying in space, but everything else was good. There were some cliche moments, but unlike Abrams who gave them the same outcome (the trench run, again!), Johnson changed the outcome of the events and their position in the film to give a much better story.
There is an ever-creeping influence of political correctness infecting the movies. I really hope they curb that trend or they could really ruin the franchise. Just write good characters for the sake of writing good characters, no matter what gender/race they are, but don't start trying to fill quotas and satisfy political agendas.Johnson made every male character seem weak and/or incompetent, and all of the female characters strong and intelligent.
Poe- he is a "good" fighter, but is stupid and rash. He really needs a woman (or two, counting Leia) to keep him in check.
Luke- He is an asshole. (A funny asshole yes, but still an asshole) He is rude to Ray, and is generally useless. Sure he saves them in the end, but he still was rather useless when it comes to training Ray. He also made Kylo momma's boy Ren. Which makes him seem kinda stupid.
Fin- He is the best "manly" character we have. And even he, at the hight of his bravery and self sacrifice, was saved/derailed by a woman. And even he hangs on the skirts (trigger all feminazis) of Ray and *Stupid Female Character who they had to make Asian to stop claims that they were racist* Bose, was it?
Agreed. She robbed the scene of any emotional weight. I really disliked her character throughout the entire movie. And as for Rose, why couldn't they have let her and Fin die?
Fin dying felt right. It would have given the movie some weight. Instead of "God damn it! That Asian Bitch sabotaged his plan to save everyone, and probably doomed them all!"
It would have been "Wow. He really did love them. He laid down his life to save them."
I think it would have been a great ending, and I think it would have given a more plausible way of escape for the rebels.
Why can I not like this 10 times?!?!?!There is an ever-creeping influence of political correctness infecting the movies. I really hope they curb that trend or they could really ruin the franchise. Forget out of place, try IMPOSSIBLE!!!!That scene looked horrendously out of place.
Agreed. Movies like Star Wars have traditionally offered us the chance to escape reality and enjoy a classic battle between the forces of good and evil. Now it is becoming increasingly more difficult to do that. At least in the case of the worst offender, the new Ghostbusters, they finally seemed to pay a price for it. I have never been so happy to see a movie crash and burn. It's not that the cast of characters can't be diverse, its that it is so blatantly obvious as to what they are trying to. Personally, it breaks me out of the immersion of the story world.I absolutely HATE how politically correct the movies have become
Actually, scientifically, you can survive in the vacuum of space for a very short period of time. One of the key points is to make sure you breath out all the air from your lungs before entering the vacuum. One of the first movies to explore this was 2001: A Space Odyssey. At first it received criticism for it, but its interpretation was eventually backed up and defended by scientists. You cannot survive the vacuum of space. It kills you instantly! Forget the lack of Oxygen, the amount of Radiation, combined with the temperature, would kill you instantly.
I really dislike Rose, but Jar Jar is still by far my least favorite character. Your points are valid, but at least I can ignore Rose to some degree. Jar Jar is constantly in your face and detracts from every scene he is in. Either way, I hate them both.Rose is the worst character in the entire Star Wars franchise! Worse than Jar Jar! (some of you are like da fuk did he just say??????)
Hear me out. Jar Jar was moronic, but it was obvious. He wasn't played off as an "intelligent individual", whereas, Rose was. She was an emotional wreck of a woman, and a fool. NOT an intelligent powerful woman.
Jar Jar was there for comic relief (he was also annoying as all get out) Rose was there as a "Hero".
She wasn't. She was a liability.(#triggered feminazis)
And so, Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I rest my case as to why Rose was worse than Jar Jar.
