According to legend. You can accidentally make a potato chip.

Supposedly a customer was complaining to a restaurant chef that his fried potatoes were not cut thin enough. So the cook sliced the potatoes crazy thin to passively aggressively respond to the customer's complaint. Accidentally discovering the deliciousness that is potato chips.
