I've been doing a good job eating healthy since Covid hit. Not like crazy healthy, but I lost 15 pounds over the last six months. Slow and steady weight loss is better than slow and steady weight gain.

My speed bump is this rule. If I want something that is junk food, I have to make it myself (usually cookies or brownies). I stopped buying junk food that you can just open and eat.

Then at the grocery store I saw it....egg nog. Before Halloween. I resisted buying it today but I have thought about the egg nog all day.

Egg nog is my favorite easy junk food that you can just open and eat. It's sooo delicious.

My dad has a family recipe that he brought over here from New Mexico that is killer. I mostly stay away from sugary things pretty much all year round (as a health thing) but come Christmas when he's made it... it's all over...
