Yeah I wrote my story and for once it's actually pretty long lol. Issue is I had so many ideas I didn't know what to flesh out, or what not to. So there are a few places where I could have fleshed it out but didn't. Nonetheless I still think it's pretty good.

Due to current family issues that are requiring I dedicate a lot of my time, it is with the deepest regret that I think I’m going to have to bow out of the contest this time. A pity as I did have a solid idea about what I wanted to write about

I am wounded, but it is a wound done unto myself. What I thought was an inspirational theme has laid low two of the great literary gladiators...

I've eaten 103 pounds of bamboo this month and counting. That's a bit high for a red panda but I've been working out so I need to carb load.

As for the story contest I have to wait like everyone else.

Also, I highly recommend linking the youtube videos that you reference in your signature permanently onto the signature. Now that I have watched them, I know why I should choose your cheese, but most people won’t.

I don't normally post a video until the final count is in. Otherwise I post static pictures. Though I haven't worried about that yet because I need to get my own house in order.

My typical day.

I have four entries so far, but I have lots of people saying they are going to give me an entry (including me saying to me that I'm going to write something),

so who knows what the final count will be.

Y'ttar is a gentleman and a rat. He is so trustworthy that I suppose I could say I have five, but I don't count my chickens until they are hatched.

At some point I'd like to see your "first draft." You almost never make a typo. I don't even bother to proofread your stuff anymore. You and @thedarkfourth make me self conscious about all my typos.

I'm around 75% done with mine. It's been pretty hard though. Maybe i'll finish. Maybe not. Regardless, i'll pump up the tension 'till the very end with my needless comment

So by the time it comes to a 'first draft' it's technically been proofed a couple times, with a more thorough read through to pick out missed words, typos, word swaps, e.t.c. Regardless of what you say, I still make plenty of mistakes though.

I thought there was rather too much overacting in that scene and that Luke sounded more like he had just been kicked in the nether-regions than finding out a cyborg was his father, just wanted to say.

It’s not your fault mate, it’s just I’ve had quite a lot of family problems of late, which would probably have happened if anyone else had chosen the contest theme as well. Don’t worry about it.

I still should be able to supply some reviews for this round at the very least, so it isn’t a complete loss, and the last one I withdrew from was a good long time ago now. I’ve done a lot of short story writing in recent months and I felt it was about time I had a break.
