Speaking of which, looking at my current post count, I'll likely be on 90k (18X Slann) hiatus when this contest rolls around. A cruel twist of fate :sour:. Not to worry, I shall read and cast a vote, but the impending hiatus will prevent my usual shitposting, reviews and promotion. :D

Maybe I like Y'ttar more than I like you;). He doesn't have 80,000 posts so the posts he does make are that much more valuable.

I don't normally announce my entries. I enter or I don't.

I am locked in an eternal battle with Writer's Block

World Anvil's annual big December event, Worldember is coming to a close (and I'm doing great by the way, on the leaderboard in seven categories this year), so I'm going to pump the brakes on writing for Scarterra for a bit, so that should make it easier to squeeze in a short story this January.

The real world is sneaking it's ugly head into my life, so I may be busy this January doing practical things that responsible adults do, and I like to cosplay as a responsible adult sometimes.

And season 2 of my favorite contemporary show is debuting in January, so that will eat some time as I inevitable will watch the new Frieren episodes multiple times.





But I'll probably write a short story for this contest.

...Hang on...does this make me order or chaos? Besides, I...I thought I was a genuinely likable fellow...chaotic mess aside. :(

Did no one consider i'm only back to make sure @Scalenex doesn't knock me off 3rd place in story compy overall wins? :p

It wasn't the "power" that was the problem... it was finding a way to actually have fun with it. Just doing any old nonsense didn't strike me as fun. Whereas, to take the previous time I used the Chaos Dwarfs in a story as an example, I need to do something with that is fun for me if I'm going to implement them.

I want to enjoy the writing, which is my first and most important priority always. Winning is pleasing, but secondary to challenging myself and having fun doing so.
