Blog Imrahil's Scenery blog

Thank you kindly... I hope it will not take to long before a scenario is played with these.

I wanted to share some of the WIP pictures of the Seraphon Scenery:

I searched for some Aztec glyphs online and got a decently printable set of them. I am not sure which numbers these where, but they are copies of original found pieces (perhaps @Warden might recognize them ;) )
I printed them and attached them to a piece of foam.

I carefully traced the lines with a pen pressing the print in to the foam.

To better accentuate the impressing I gave it a wash of Agrax Earthshade and then traced the impressed symbols with a black pen.

I realized the complete glyph set was a bit to big for a single piece of scenery(you could hide a carnosaur behind it) and decided to break it up in different parts to resemble the aging of it all. after painting the stones I added basing and plastic plants.
Then I followed the suggestions made earlier and painted the plants as well ;)

Really cool! Sorry I missed these until just now, really cool project!

...also these are Maya glyphs not Aztec :D. No clue where exactly they are from, but at least a portion of them are Long Count dates :pompus:

To get back to scenery: here are a few close up pictures of the scenery I used to enter last Feathered Serpent contest

The target rats are removable, so the building can be used in other ways as well. For instance as an Easterling building.

The roof is removable as shown, so it is playable inside.
