Thank you very much!
I will have to make a lot more of those boxes to match your magnificent Mordheim board

But I am always looking to expand my Scenery collection, so I might get to that level some day ;)

Grrr, !mrahil

I look forward to seeing your Minas Tirith/Osgiliath cityscape being complete!

Some delightful hobbying last night. I was asked to do a small workshop for an Arts and Crafts project at our church. Of course I would like to do that.
So at the moment I am preparing a mock up of what will be created at the workshop.

First time I really have to think about which steps I need to do in what order

The workshop will be one evening of creating and one evening of painting.
Looking forward to it, but also am a bit nerveus about it.

Anyway here is some WIP

Hey, that’s great!

You’ll be fine. You’re very talented at this.

That's pretty cool. I'm sure you'll put on a fantastic workshop!

I brought home a piece of packaging from work (packaging of a whiteboard):

I instantly have made my initial Gondor Project bigger than I envisioned before

The foam will be cut to align with the edges of the cardboard creating a 3 by 3 feet addition to my battlemat.
For those who know me a little It will be a modular piece of scenery

For the low part I will make two (for now) types of 'basing'. For the set-up as shown there will be sections of tiles, but I would like to make sections of water as well to make a scenario with bridges crossing over. Both top sides will be completely tiled.

wish me luck :angelic:

Last friday was the second and last part of the workshop that I gave on miniature building (for our curch community). The attendees were very enthusiastic since the first night and started to look at all stuff in their houses as potential scenery material :) (already a successful workshop)
They brought their creativity in completing the buildings in their own style.

Sadly one person couldn't make it this evening, the painting will be done later.

Sunday morning there was a display together with all the other art workshops that were given. There was the possibility to set up some own work as well.

These are great, a few "potted" plants will go a long way to making a city-scene feel lived in.

I am loving the work you have accomplished recently, well done :D
