@Imrahil how long hasdid it take from tart to where you are now with that? Such a tidy job and what it is speaks clearly for it self even at this point.

(I mean, the whole thing)

Ah that is a tough one. There is time invested physically and mentally, not always both at the same time. The walls where pretty quick developed, but then painting was going on slowly (bit by bit for the little time I had to spare).
The lower floor was quite time consuming perhaps 5 hours over divided over 2 weeks.
The upper floor and stairs I prepared mentally before executing it in one evening.

Overall I think this one has me around the 12 hours at the moment.(mostly a guesstimation)

Last night I finally had some time to physically hobby. But all my current projects are stored in boxes because of the bathroom remodelling.

So I had to start a new one :angelic:

An easy one this time and quick to build. I reused already printed paper sheets and some round paper coffee sturrers borrowed from work ;) and a lot of PVA

I will probably paint it in some tone of weathered brown or black.

Smart.

Nice work with the PVA on the paper to make the warping effect.

Brilliant, may have to borrow this idea at some point

Meanwhile I am developing all new sorts of buildings in my head (and on paper)

The last one is kind of a square building. My idea is to keep the top part removeable. This way it can also function as a little alcove on its own.

Both still design in progress ;)

Great work on those tents! How durable are they now that they are completed?

Thanks!
The top is very durable, due to the amount of 'beams' attached. The bottom part somewhat... the paper is stiffened but there are only a few supports, so the overall shape is still changable.
You have to store them delicately.

Yesterday I had the urge to build new pieces of scenery again, but this building was still standing on the workbench. So I brought it a few stages closer to its completion. (Singling out brixks in brown and blue and then drybrushing all in a light grey)

Just the roofing to build and paint.
