Thank you, actually thought I had already showed it before, but not.

The middle is a box made out of foam that I carved with a fork for random imprint. For the edges I cut small pieces of rope and unravelled it. Then glued them in place. A bit fiddling but the result is great.

The inside walls and floor are done. I assembled three of the walls and keep one separate for inside use in games:

Next steps are:
- creating and painting upper floor
- creating and painting stairs
- creating and painting roof
- painting the outside

Last night I had to put away my hobby stuff, for the comming 2 weeks, because we are going to redo our bathroom. Managed to put some last construction work in ;)

The upper floor and stairs are build :) :) very happy with the progress

Very nice work. How did you manage to glue the wooden boards to that thin piece of foam without breaking it? That's some fine motor skills on exhibit right there!

That's great. A Gondorian house with a working bathroom... oh wait, never mind. ;). A lovely building with such nice detail.

Thank you very much :)
It was quite simple actually, with a little patience. I aplied glue on the beams and carfully laid the wooden boards on them piece by piece.
