Correct, I mask the base rim and the flag and prime them light grey.
Most of my models are primed light grey. It makes the base colours stand out a little more.

And I also finished the home town mini:

Which means an other completed faction for the board game. The last faction for now. This is probably also the last mini for a couple of months. We are about to renovate the attic (where my hobby space is) to create more room. So all hobby stuff has to be packed and stored for a while...

Like for the mini. Sorry to hear about your hobby space being demolished for a while. Hopefully, it will end up better.
