Well guys, it's been quite a ride. I started in December 2019 and this website has been a regular resource for laughs, help and forum-friendship.

I'd like to thank everyone on the site for their contributions to what is a really awesome corner of the internet. It's friendly, helpful and contributive. Special shout-out to my fellow Chaos Dwarf @NIGHTBRINGER

I've grown as a Warhammer player, a poet and writer.

Through help from the forum, I took up that brush which I had thrown away so long ago. At that time, I decided that I just couldn't paint and that was all there was to it. This forum's encouragement has helped me through that and now I'm not only painting but enjoying what I'm doing.

Trust me, I NEVER expected that to happen.

Well.. Double-Slannhood.

Just a stepping stone really, ;)

(P.S. stay tuned for part two when I finally finish my other piece).

I must say, that is a most worthy Double-Slann artwork! You're a pretty darn talented artist, what medium did you create the picture on? I'll have to work out how I can match it (fortunately, at the rate I post, I have plenty of time to do so :p). I'm most impressed that you've managed to capture my Albion Chieftain self clad in shades in all my noble, regal glory! :pompus:

If we can summon @Knoffles back here, I think he'd be particularly pleased to see that you've captured the exact pose of the Dwarf Lord model in his profile picture. That was a particularly nice touch.

Though if I may say something, @Lord-Marcus is going to be gutted that you tagged him in your post, yet he doesn't feature in the artwork! (Unless he's playing the part of the golden '8' ring we're all holding up, which funnily enough bears a superficial resemblance to his current yellow Slann portrait ;))

December 2019... my goodness, how time has flown. Not to mention how speedy a poster you have become, I first emerged from the Spawning Pools here almost two years before you, and have been well and truly beaten to the Double-Slann title, despite just pipping you to the title of Single Slann. Most sincere congratulations to my fellow Briton and Warhammer Fantasy player! Here's to 5000 more of your posts, and I eagerly anticipate the arrival of your second work of Double-Slann art!
