Meh I don't have time to worry about your leaderboard. I have another leader board to worry about! On World Anvil's Worldember competition I am 9th place for Word count and 5th place for number of articles.

I'm not that far behind the 8th place person, but the 1st and 2nd place holders have almost triple my word count.

I don't have a whole lot of incentive other than pride to move up in these rankings, so I'm trying to focus on quality over quantity. I really want more likes. There are a few badges for most likes in XYZ category and I am not in the running for any of them.

There are 20 special mini contests that are judged by 1-3 people and I got many entries on this one, roughly 2/3 of them. I got an honorable mention last summer for one.

The only categories I have yet to enter are Ethnicity, Document, Vehicle, Geographical Feature, Spell, Organization, Settlement, Myth/Legend.

Spell I never use the template. Document and Vehicle I used once so I doubt the muse will hit me there. The others I have gobs and gobs written on, but this contest is for new submission so I've kind of dug the well dry on these categories but I can probably come up with some ideas for these categories if I switch from Scarterra (land) to Scaraqua (sea) or even Scarnoctis (underground) my neglected third child.

Now that I think about it, I originally liked the idea of my world being scarred from all the past cataclysms, but maybe, just maybe, I am fixated on things that start with Sca-.

Next year we'll see if I can transition from world building into more story writing. And exercise and terrain making and two or three other New Year's resolutions that probably won't stick.

I never really considered it to be my leaderboard. Has my "domination" reached such heights as to have the leaderboard assigned to me? :p

I guess I'll take it as a compliment, even though it wasn't likely intended as one! !.png

Fair enough... whatever floats your boat!

I suppose we aren't so different after all, we've just decided to focus on different lists/standings.

I have a family of Canadians who live very near me and have been my friends for several years. They have other Canadians come over and visit. I have met many Canadians while visiting my family in the USA.

I'd say that, on the whole, being likeable is a national trait.

(You'll always get the exceptions to the rules, but I've found this to be true on the whole.)
