There are 666 threads in the off-topic forum, not that mighty Nightbringer cares much for the number 666 and he tends to value the number of posts over the number of threads.

It's something. Repeating digits are slightly more interesting to me than a digit with a bunch of zeroes at the end.

Of course. The total number of threads are much less important. I'd rather have 1 thread with 1000 posts than 1000 threads with 1 post each!

That might start a very bad precedent. Imagine everyone's threads lost in a sea of my random thoughts and whims turned into freshly minted threads.

We can make a "randomness" subforum for your nonsense.

In the other forums you'l still have to follow the rules and post relevant stuff, so that should be fine. It's not like you go off-topic in every thread you post in either :p

I suppose. That said, I have little interest in tracking most threads started, I'd be FAR more interested in tracking most likes given! We've had some truly exceptional like givers over the years and it would be nice to have them recognized.

If you're interested in most threads created, you can check anyone's profile manually for their thread count. I have 187 to my name.

That is kind of the fate of most forums online. The main reason I index things is so people can find certain especially valuable threads even if they are old, but not many people like to use them.

I was hoping to see a bunch of old indexed Tactica threads made before we had a like button end up with some "likes" but that rarely happens

That's why I created a thread to index my polls! Those things are scattered across the forum.
