I HAVE THE POWER!!! (in terms of forum milestones)

The Short Story Competition is a celebration more than a true competition. As much as I dislike participation trophies, when art is involved and everyone gets to read the stories, truly every participant wins, even those who did not enter.

Because you know, reading...and voting. HINT HINT

More to the point, I did not enter a short story this cycle, so I'm not competing with LoR. I only enter about 2/3 of the contests myself. I did enter a poem in the concurrent contest, but that's neither here nor there.

Even if I was competing, it's not exactly a 1V1 competition. We eight writers competing right now and this is slightly a below average turnout contest.

Besides, 1V1 friendly competition is not as fun since my best frienemy @spawning of Bob stopped haunting the forums. :(

I meant competition in terms of posting. The short story champion vs. short story champion bit was more about setting the backdrop. Short story brothers facing off in the most messages list.

I miss that guy too. He was a great forum member. He added a generous dose of fun and levity to Lustria.

I saddens me to see him on the verge of being displaced on the Most Messages and Most Likes lists.
 
A different type of milestone (maybe one that even @Scalenex will manage to appreciate ;))... Lustria Online passes the 10,000 member mark!! Obviously not all remain active, but it's still a pretty impressive milestone in my estimation. :)

Credit and thanks goes out to EVERYONE on the forum. The contributions of each member, whether many or few, has helped create what is the finest Warhammer forum on the interwebs. Of course, special congratulations are owed to the mighty @The Red Devil (long may he ribbit), who has done more for the forum than anybody else!!!
