O I'm sure it'd be high. Even if he'd lose 80% of his posts he'd still be in the top 10. But how much exactly would he lose. 5%? 10%? 50%? 75%? Even moreStill pretty high, he's very active when it comes to 8th ed stuff.
But yeah, no meme would be big.![]()

You mean the most liked content on all of the forum? If only I had more nonsense to post in off-topic topics like a certain someone![]()
Strictly based on total word count, I'd imagine I'd drop to 2nd behind @ScalenexVery true.
Somehow I feel like we should take word-count in to account
Grrr, Imrahil
Still number one by a country mile. Undefeated & undisputed. #AndStillMakes me curious how much @NIGHTBRINGER would drop if we no longer counted the memes![]()
I agree... on both accounts.Still pretty high, he's very active when it comes to 8th ed stuff.

What type of woodworking is she looking to do?on the topic of woodworking, my girlfriend wants to get into that, but is an absolute novice who barely knows where the sharp end of a saw goes. Any suggestions on how to get her started without losing limbs?
Table saws are FAR from perfectly safe!!! Even with the SawStop (which will save your fingers/hand from being chopped off), there is still kickback. Kick back is when the back of the blade picks up the wood and fires it back towards the user's direction at extremely high speed. Of course, it can be used safely but you can't allow yourself even the smallest lapse in concentration/judgment. It is easily the most dangerous tool in a woodworking workshop. We don't have the space for anything big, and a tablesaw probably would scare her too much anyway, even if they're perfectly safe.
I think a Scroll Saw is an ideal starting point. It is probably the safest of the power tools. It also requires very little space and an entry level model can be purchased cheaply (make sure the saw can use pinless blades... trust me).So I am trying to look for something that an absolute beginner can do that isn't too intimidating, while at the same time being interesting enough to actually keep her motivated.

This website has a bunch of free scroll saw patterns, including some puzzles/toys. I consider Steve Good to be the Vince Venturella of the scroll saw world. If you know of any places where I can find some super basic designs for wooden toys that don't require any fancy tools (or fancy techniques) that'd be great.

Not nearly as distant as the distance between myself and the second place contender in terms of pictures uploaded!A distant second I'm sure.
Actually Killer Angel might edge you out. I'm sure a hypothetical word count ranking would be stacked with frequent posters on the fluff forum. I bet @spawning of Bob would still be on the leader board despite not having posted recently. He put up a literal full novel and then some.
It's probably good it isn't tracked... if it was, maybe I'd have to take a run at it.Though I'm sure if we measured word count that would be a lot of work for our illustrious leader, @The Red Devil (long may he ribbet) because the programming to track total word count would have to count the words of each and every post of each and every thread.
Yeah, this has so far been the biggest issue. While I have a bunch of basic tools like a handsaw and such that she could use, even the most basic patterns we found already required an investment as they need the various special shaped knives/files/etc. to actually be able to sculpt. And she is very hesitant to actually buy those as the ones she found were quite expensive. And unfortunatly I don't know anyone who could borrow us some to get her started and see if she actually likes it.Keep in mind though, that all wood working projects will require supplementary tools in addition to your saw. Drill Presses are immensely useful. Sanding blocks/paper, clamps, wood glue etc.

Hmmmm.....

Only fitting I suppose... from one Tomb King to another....

@Killer Angel : Congrats on reaching second place on the Most Likes list! View attachment 91148
And with that, the first and second Tomb Kings are in place. We now await @Lizards of Renown to ascend into third place and complete the trinity. The Age of Three (Tomb) Kings is nearly upon us!!
Very true.

That's like saying that George R.R. Martin or J.K. Rowling don't get credit for their novels because they weren't the ones that actually printed them. If an author sells a million copies of a book, they still get credit even if they weren't the ones to print or actually sell the books.I don't think even RAW you could get away with that. Avatars & Signatures are not part of the actual posts. They are controlled from a different place, they get attached after making the actual post, and it is done automaticly by the server. You are not involved in that at all.
At best the server would be the one who could claim the signatures/avatars as its posts as technically that is the entity which makes the seperate once attached to each post.
But you would hardly say that either of them has written billions of words, would you? That's like saying that George R.R. Martin or J.K.
