In the old forum, you hit the quote button and it brings in the whole body of the text of the post. You had to manually delete the parts you didn't want. If you wanted to quote multiple people you had to use copy and paste which was a pain. Now quoting is streamlined.

Step 1: Figure out what you want to quote.

Step 2: Make sure the text cursor is blinking where you want the quote to appear in your reply.

Step 3. Highlight the portion of text you want to quote. The word reply appears, click on that.

Is it possible to quote a quote? If I'm quoting someone who's quoting someone else it's useful for context, and was available in the old board.

I believe the old [/quote] tags still work as well.
