No I dont think so, just says amendments change T6 to T10. I think its always been T10 in other editions and it was just a typo in the 8th book? Not sure, but my Empire playing brother was very quick to points this out to me a while back lol
They are pretty hard to take out with T10, but I find they do blow up a lot. The thing is with a steam tank they may have 10 wounds but you dont need to do 10 wounds to destroy them, if you can get 4 wounds across to it then it is pretty much unusable as expending any steam points has a 50% chance to have to roll on the table. So you just have to get a couple of wounds over and they do the rest.
Poisoned giant bow on the baby steg may be worth a punt. Auto wound on the 6 for poison and no save for bolt throwers
