AoS How to build at army using Stormcast and Seraphon

Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster. I have a relatively small Seraphon army that is comprised of the Start Collecting box and a box of Skinks. I was wanting to play a few games but, understandably, my army is quite small. While digging through my Pile Of Forgotten Projects, I came across the Start Collecting Stormcast Thunderstrike box, and I have a few questions:

1, How would I go about combining these into 1 army?
2, Would the battleline and characters from both armies count towards the minimum required for a legal army or would I need more battleline choices for both armies?

Stormcast are allies for Seraphon so if you are making a 2000 point army for matched play you can have 400 points of that as stormcast.
Allies do not contribute to the minimum requirements for battle line though so you would need to have a legal army with the 1600 of seraphon then add in the stormcast.
for a 1000 point army you can take 200 points of allies.
