AoS How to build an AoS Army?

That's just my thoughts, though. Also I now want to make a Cult of Valkia army because I dislike Khorne but adore Valkia.

I'm building a lose themed khorne force

The new Chaos models got me started, I don't know much about any of the races only what I have read namely AOS and I'm working through the Darkblade books.

And sweet. As I say, I do dislike Khorne. But between the Slaughterpriest, the Skullgrinder, and my lovely Valkia, I think I can build a Khorne army that's worth my time.
