Norse mainly although i've been looking into slavic and celtic mythologies a bit aswell, i think theres a fairly large overlap with alot of the tribes who were geographically close and came into contact, like the Norse and Slavs and early Brittons and Saxons, and as i'm half Irish i find alot of the celtic stuff quite interesting aswell, what about you?
I've been exploring and piecing together the few scraps of evidence around to try and develop a pantheon of deities based upon those the Ancient British Celts would have worshipped. Even though I'm English I feel more of a Celtic identity than a Saxon one, as I have especially pale skin and a reddish hair tint which are both signs of a Celtic bloodline. Unfortunately most of the established Celtic mythology is either Irish (which is Goidelic and so has notable cultural differences to the Ancient Britons) or Welsh (which is closer to the Ancient Britons as the Welsh inherited their Brythonic language, but medieval Welsh culture still has its differences to the Ancient British), but I've discovered some connections between these surviving groups and the lost Ancient British culture, including the idea of Cernunnos being the Ancient British equivalent of the Irish Dagda, i.e. king of the gods and lord of nature.
