8th Ed. How do Saurus survive to actually fight?

I didn't chose Lizardmen for their power. I chose them for their models. The big dinosaurs hooked me, guess I'm still a kid at heart. I'll learn to make them work. I like to win as much as anyone, but having a good time is more important. That guide that is stickied on the forum is a HUGE help getting to know how to play Lizardmen. I have enough games under my belt now it's at least starting to make sense.
