AoS how do i skink-fu

Seems like I might need a few more than 80 for this strat

60 is enough for the start. Skinks will die eventually, and you can bring removed models in new units. 80 is optimal. A box of skinks is cheap for 24-model box and you can convert handlers/chameleons. Since GHB 2018 we've lost horde discount for skinks and since GHB2019 they cost 10 points more. A 40-model skinks units cost same as a bastiladon. I, personaly, prefere 3-4 10-model units to start on the board and summon 20 more turn 1-2.

yup you hit the oponents key units turn 1/2 with rippers then take all the points with skinks then you do your best to hold back the tide. you will be tabled by turn 4 but hopefully you've gotten so far ahead on points by then that it doesn't matter

no. but that might change soon we don't know. still you have got to love carnasaurs they are such fun models

That's a big thing stopping me from rushing out and buying seraphon right now (or when the shops open)... I'm worried ill build toward a list and suddenly a new battletome will drop and the entire list will be obsolete. Not super likely but still...

yup i haven't baught lizards for 5 months for the same reason. we know a book is coming but not when so we are stuck twiddling our thumbs

I personally believe 3 units of max size is the way to go for most of our units as a minimum, that's due to the way our battalions currently work, and lets be honest, even if there are changes, we are always gonna be summoning dependent.

I would say yes as dracothion’s tail is still viable and a SC box is what makes up its core functionality.

plus it saves money, and if you use @Crowsfoot 's guide you can get a lot out of it
