So I've begun writing fluff again ([shamelessplug]which can be found here: http://www.lustria-online.com/threads/lord-xhaltan.15704/ [/shamelessplug]), and have somehow managed to convince a good friend of mine to proof-read my waffle.
Unfortunately, they're an outsider: they've never read a rulebook, played a game, or picked up a brush.
So, I want to put together a succinct compendium of Warhammer lore so that they're not lost - given I'm posting my writing on this forum it assumes some prior knowledge of the fluff. However, I'm struggling to put together an effective summary.
What the hexoatl do I include to convey years worth of background writing, a complex world filled with a varied host of nations intertwined in their own histories??!!
I'm thinking of including a brief history of the warhammer world, the lesser races, the history of the lizardmen, their culture, Lustrian geography, with a bit of focus on the realm of Chaos, their Four and their associated Daemons and....and.... I already feel like I'm going into it too deep :s
So I thought I'd consult your collective genius
what should I include?!
