8th Ed. Help vs Bretonnians

Had a game against an all knight force of bretonnians and got smashed to pieces so i was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas.
Here's a brief breakdown of how everything died.
Skinks1 next to frenzie building so had to stand ground killed to the man
Saurus charged by 9 man lance formation lost combat paniced got run down
Temple guard lost by 1 paniced got run down but did kill 3/5 grail knights
Cold ones paniced and got run down
Skink priest killed by the cavalry after they ran down my cold ones
Skink2 killed 8 knights in a single round of shooting then got charged by the recovered grail knights chose to flee and GOT RAN DOWN.
Help please.

Ok. First thing, we need to see what you have to work with. What was the list that you took against him. What did his list consist of (we do not need point values). From the initial looks of it, you had some misfortune with the dice. Cold blooded should have allowed you some success on the Ld roles (unless you lose combat horribly).

Use Gor-Rok, but dont put him in a saurus unit. the bretonnian guy doesn't have archers, so he should be ok. get the knights to charge him so they will take dangerous terrain tests. gor rok wont be going anywhere if you arent too unlucky with dice, so you can flank charge with skinks, saurus, etc.

I haven't used chakax before, but i think gor rok is better than chakax if your facing bretonnians. with the points difference between the two heroes you could get some valuable spears for your saurus, since chances are you will be the one getting charged.

I've only played small games 600 pts but i've played about 5 or 6 games against bretonnians.

To be honest, I don't know why you would waste points on our Special Characters. They are generally speaking pretty overpriced for what they do.
I would drop Chakax and take a pair of Scar-Veterans, one as the general and one as the Battle-Standard Bearer.
