8th Ed. Help me make a 1000pt list

Firstly i would like to say if this is in the wrong section please could you move it to the correct area, Thank you.

I am new to lizardmen (and fantasy in a whole really) and am struggling to make a 1000pt list for a campaign so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated

What i own:
-Saurus OldBlood
-Skink Priest
-8 Cold One Cavalry (Full Command)
-31 Skink Skirmishers
-10 Temple Guard (Full Command)
-26 Saurus with handweapon and shields (Full Command)
-1 Salamander Hunting Pack
-1 Jungle Swarm (Irrelevant i know but might aswell add)

As you may have noticed i have the Battalion Set, a oldblood and some other older models kindly given to me!

As i said earlier any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Here is a list im taking to a competition this week, 1 point under 1000. If you can get your hands on a box of terradons and a bastiladon, you can take this. Very mobile army, if you chose carefully where to go in cc, youll be fine

Here is a list for 1000 pts. using the models you have.

Core:
20 x Saurus Wariors
Full Command

10 x Skink Skirmishers

10 x Skink skirmishers

Special:
5 x Cold One Riders
Full command

Rare:
Salamander with extra skink handler

This comes out to exactly 1000 Pts.

If your Cold One Riders have Spears, you will have to find an extra 20 pts. as the spears cost 4 pts. each. One option would be to drop your Skink Priest to a Lvl 1. That gives a few extra points to dole out for more magic or add extra skinks to your skirmisher units.

If you do not want to have magic in a 1000 pt. game, drop the Skink Priest and use one of your extra Skinks as a Skink Chief. You can make the Skink Chief the BSB and use the extra points to give him some magic armor or another magic item.
