Fielded an all skink army before? I am very curious to the outcome if so. I have always been a fan of the models and special rules for a lot of the skink units. My friend typically plays wood elves and my poor saurus always fall to his hail of arrows before reaching CC. As such I am thinking of only fielding skinks/kroxies/dinos in battle. This army would focus on strength in numbers and fast movement of skinks/terries as well as heavy support from steggies to break units and artillery from sallies to flame them from afar. Any thoughts?

The thought has crossed my mind but I have never tried it. Perhaps in a themed battle one day but other than that I would be lothe to actually try it.

well never realized it but im going for a " all skink army" but they are accompanied by 4 stegadons and razors
this saterday i will be having a tournament and i will see if it works then.

they use to be brilliant, in 6th edition, i won a fair few games with them, its just dealing with there 2 weakness ld and t

not played a full skink army in 7th though, as 7th has allowed me to rebuild my saurus army

Yeah, I often deployed up to 5x10 skinks in a 2k match back in the 6th edition and harrazed my opponent! Though that isn't as easy as befor with the pts increase, I still think of both the EoTG and Chif in general as two solid improvement that i guess it would do to field an all skink army(that would be inc mounts of cours).

its much faster then al the saurus units army's for sure but in 7th its harder i believe because skink skirmishers are a lot more expensive and you will need a stegadon and or salamanders for sure well atleast i did
