Cool little AoS model...

Another Nighthaunt foot hero? He does look interesting, but the Nighthaunt seem to be pretty heavy on the foot heroes already. Hopefully he does something useful.

Typical, Nighthaunt get 2 new named characters and a new unit (when they've got a lot of both), yet Fyreslayers just get one unnamed hero which they've already got loads of.

Faction bias strikes again!

But then, it does mean more units to add to my Spirits of the Dead Warhammer Fantasy army list, if nothing else.

Some terrain...

Not bad, it'd also work well in Warhammer Fantasy as a plastic Incarnate Elemental of Beasts if you're allowing Monstrous Arcanum rules.

And saving the best for last...

I like these, they'd actually fit in a Warhammer Fantasy Dwarf army, if only as objective pieces or unit fillers. I can definitely see Dwarfs using miniature boars as beer-caddies. Indeed their miniature size actually makes them more fitting for a Dwarf army than a Norse army.

I would totally buy that helmetless beer pig if it was sold separately.

If you're this excited by ordinary Dwarf Beer-Pigs, I wonder how excited you'd be at CHAOS DWARF BEER-PIGS, with miniature Persian beards, big hats and carrying metal casks on their backs? :p

But I'm wondering if that dragon-flame-skull looking thing is a new endless spell? I'll be really interested to see what it does if it is.

I would certainly imagine it is. I'd imagine it would work in the style of the Fyreslayer Infernoth, but bigger and liable to run amok if the hero dies.

Were they any announcements about new battletomes? That's what I'm really curious about ;)

The Battletomes they announced for Nighthaunt and Daughters of Khaine haven't arrived yet, it's likely they'll save the preview for the next pair until after they've arrived.

@NIGHTBRINGER you've missed out some of the coolest stuff:
Necromunda meets Gorkamorka!

The Flea Riders in particular have conversion potential, and the introduction of cavalry and vehicles into Necromunda will add a whole new dimension to gameplay.

The buggies less so. Not ork-ish enough.

GW have already made six of those so you're covered :p

Besides, any aspiring Ork player can easily convert those Orlock buggies into something more Orky, they're already ramshackle enough to fit the part, they just need a few Ork spares stuck on them in places that barely make sense and the 'umie crew replaced with some Boyz.

Certainly Orks I have found to be one of the easiest races to convert/kitbash, more so than my beloved Tyranids or Necrons by quite a fair way. Any Ork player who can't kitbash needs to have a good stint at the Mek's workshop and the Dok's tent to return to their senses! ;)

O I don't even like the orks that much. I just think that buggies don't really work all that well for the other factions. Orks can lean into the ramshackle nature of a buggy. Plus, orks don't care that the pilot or gunner is exposed. For humans it just looks kinda silly.

Not so much when those humans have tech levels and attitudes that are roughly the same as Orks, as is the case with most Necromunda gangs :p
The difference though is that the actual human gunner doesn't want to be shot at.
The ork thinks it adds to the fun.

And this isn't one of the gangs that's a bunch of crazy zealots or something. This is supposed to be one of the more rational gangs.

So I wouldn't expect a exposed buggy. I'd expect something like a budget knock-off ridgerunner or taurox. Or even just a trukk. Just anything that provides some semblance of cover via some solid metal plates for the driver and gunner.

I mean, at least put a crude metal box around the gunner so he can't be shot in the back.

That's exactly what I'd be using them for. Although with the helmetless one, I'd keep him exactly as is... he's perfect!

@Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl : I think you messed up your quoting:

I myself have no interest in what this will do in AoS or if it is in fact an endless spell or not. Only Warhammer Proper for me.

And again... shame on you!

Apologies pal, I did know that @Kilvakar had asked those questions, I simply made the mistake of replicating your quotemark too many times

Nothing of interest there. :wtf:

I take it you're not into Necromunda?

@NIGHTBRINGER
The dragon skull thing is a mix of monster, terrain & endless spell according to the description.
It is in some way bound to a hero. If that hero dies it goes on a rampage. And that's all the information they've given us so far.
I only care about it from a modelling perspective. AoS rules hold no meaning for me.

And I've caused a bit of Chaos of my own :D

@Canas it was @Kilvakar who was asking about what the dragon skull thing might do, your response is better directed to him. As you'll read a couple of posts above, I made a mistake by accidentally putting his words into @NIGHTBRINGER's mouth and replicating the latter's quote a couple of times too much.

Nope. I only play WFB (a.k.a. Warhammer Proper).

Currently, I'm one of only four belonging to the exclusive Sacred Knights of the Divine Order

Hahaha... it was funny. I'm like, I don't remember saying these things.
I should probably be added as a questing knight, as Numas is one of my ongoing current project.

I blame @Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl :P
