GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

At least we are looking at Plastic models and not Resin. Which makes easier kitbashing.
(and a way more affordable price range... opposed to Smaug... 440 euro!!!)

Grrr, Imrahil
Yeah, i straight up dont kitbash resin models because its a pain and can be dangerous (resin dust particles), very happy they're plastic

Certainly more affordable... though their kit will doubtlessly be over £100. That's still a lot of dosh to shell out on a single model.

But they will have their uses, as Emperor Dragons in Warhammer Fantasy and the Order answer to Imperial Knights in AoS.

The bottom of the new SCE article gives a sneak peak at Karazai the Scarred's potential for gains after munchin on all sorts of protein! haha!

Interesting.
Depending on his attacks this will make for a hard monster to kill the longer it stays in battle.

Grrr, Imrahil

Imagine those battle reports where people would write "At some point Karazai didn't even need the dice for his attacks" :D
That is... if he wasn't focus-fired from the start, haha.

I readed in a YouTube comment that the dragon's heads looks like they came out of a Don Bluthand that is just a MASSIVE bonus in my book..

The heads are quite similar to what we are expecting theropod dinosaurs to have: lips, so that's a paleo bonus too.

And, fulff-wise, we are responsible of this beautiful creatures:

Dragon this nutz, chaos!

Stormdrake Guard, taking flight, and they look SO good.

Yes, even if you don't like Sigmarines, thankfully the bare heads and a bit of kitbashing with Demigryph knights, you can make them look different enough.

Man am I just jealous. Hopefully our kin will have something fantastic as a reward for making this fellas take flight.

Remember Kill Team? It's back! with a promise:

We’ve all been there on pre-order day – we set our alarm, logged into our Games-Workshop.com account, and braced ourselves to set the world speed record for adding items to a cart… all in the hope of getting that awesome new launch box. And we’ve probably all missed out on something we really wanted because we weren’t fast enough, the doorbell rang, our cat spilled coffee on the keyboard, or scalpers got there first.

Well, not this time!Running out of stock sucks. We know we’ve let you down in the past – so we’re going to do something about it, right now.

This weekend, Games Workshop is making a promise to everyone who orders Kill Team: Octarius during the pre-order weekend – we guarantee you’ll get a copy. Simple!

So, feel free to answer that doorbell or take your cat downstairs knowing you don’t need to scour the internet and pay some dirty scalper a cut just to get the latest boxed set.

Everyone who pre-orders a copy of the new Kill Team this weekend will get one.

Now, Kill Team: Octarius is the first time we’re making a pledge like this. We’ve made absolutely loads of copies… but we’ve been wrong about demand before! So, just rest assured, if you order one on the pre-order weekend, we’ll get it to you.

There’s some nuance here… we’ll be shipping them out first come, first served. If you get in late, it might just take longer to get them to you… potentially several months longer – but you WILL get your copy.

Going forwards, we’re looking at ways we can make sure you don’t miss out on other awesome box sets too. So if, for instance, there was a sweet new Black Templars launch box on the horizon (just imagine that!) then that also sounds like the sort of box we’d want to make sure you could all get your hands on.

But for now, set that alarm… for any time that suits you over the weekend, and brace yourself for Kill Team: Octarius.

For those of you who really DO enjoy the race to be first on a Saturday morning (you crazy sadists), then there’s still a reason to be first in line. The first rush of orders for Kill Team: Octarius made on Games-Workshop.com will also get a premium metal combat gauge in its own presentation box. This special pre-order treat will only be available on a first come, first served basis while stocks last – it’s just perfect for celebrating the launch of the new edition… and, you know, reminding your friends you were first!

So, was the promise kept? yesn't.

See, at the moment of posting this, the only French and Japanese copies are no longer available, and both of them are limited, because there are both Made to Order AND Limited options.

Everything else? fair play.

Yet, pretty neat to see them call address the scalpers as "dirty".

But, so far, so good!, if you aren't boycotting GW, feel free to order your launch box before midnight on your timezone, which is pretty much four hours from now on at posting this:

Curious to see how the new edition of Kill team does. I've heard both good and bad things about it (mostly bad).

Will have to check back in a few months.

I think it was a decent watch, but nothing to send out cease and desist letters to fan animators.

The animation was not great for a streaming service, but towards the end the jokes really got me, and I liked that they didn't gave a +2 invul save to the black female crewmate just becase she is a minority: this is war.

Glad it was well recieved here, at least, there is already plenty of nayers, but they were here since the announcement of WH+ anyway.

I'm still on board with WH+, mainly because I want the monthly discounts. I ain't gonna buy -10% off for a Primaris Intercessors box, but if they do something else, I could get behind.

Yes it wasn't that bad, but if this was supposed to be a shattering reveal of the new majestic contents that await us inside wh+, where the best animators from youtube now can finally put their artistic skills to work... i'd say it failed spectacularly.

"First among next week’s literary pre-orders is The Art of Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer Fantasy Battles. This hardback A4 book contains a stunning collection of artwork from both the World-that-Was and the Mortal Realms, featuring character portraits, landscapes, depictions of epic battles, and more.

Not only is this a beautiful edition packed with gorgeous art from various eras of Warhammer, but it contains insights into the artists’ transition from the Old World to the Age of Sigmar to boot."
